I hope all the students enjoyed the Middle school picnic - they sure looked like they did.
What an eventful week - Called away to the year 5 camp as another teacher had the vomit bug!- Whilst there Samuel managed to get a smack to the head and has been suffering from concussion - although he just read the acc fineprint which gives him "off work till the 18th Dec" - so he thinks if he takes that to school tomorrow he will be able to put his feet up in class!!!
Congratulations to all those students who completed the weetbix tryathalon- I hope you heard me cheering for you all - what fantastic little athletes you all are.
Also to all those who made their First Reconciliation on Friday and Sunday, well done.
This week - production - please read carefully the newsletter sent home last week or visit the school website for further updates.
It will be a bit of a mucked up week - but we still have plenty of learning left to go.
Room 5 and room 12 will be doing a nativity play at the end of year mass- notices will go home hopefully tomorrow about what costume your child will need.
Have a great week.

Thursday: Middle school are leading the rosary - Crowning of Mary - 10.10 on the school field.
Thursday: Afternoon - Athletics - please bring PE gear. It was great to hear from the other middle school teachers room 5 were the politest and best listeners and participators last week.
Tuesday I will be on study leave - back on Wednesday.
Last week I attended a meeting to provide information about Google Apps and Chrome books for the senior students next year. It is great to have the balance of the Bring your own devices in the classroom and school provided devices. I understand that the Chrome books can be a good behaviour tool- if your child is 'grounded' from their device it is still helpful to allow them to bring to school and let me know so they only use it during the specified time - I know it is a tricky one which as a parent I have faced but then I thought I would not send my child without their textbook.
Friday: Halloween for golden time we will be having a fear factor eating competition.
Hope you all have a great week.
Thanks
Teresa Rush
